Quiko Terms of Use (Review Draft v7)
1. Operator and scope
Quiko is operated by THE COPY HOUSE SDN. BHD. 202301048588(1542502-M) of G-8 &G-09, PLATINUM LAKE CONDOMINIUM NO.2A, JALAN DANAU SAUJANA, TAMAN DANAU KOTA 53300 KUALA LUMPUR. (“Quiko”, “we”, “us”). These Terms govern customer accounts, the Quiko website, Print Credit, orders and printing performed at participating kiosks. A “Print Agent” is an independently operated location authorised to fulfil Quiko print orders. The Privacy Notice, Printing and Refund Policy and Print Credit Policy form part of these Terms.
2. Account and eligibility
You must provide accurate phone and email details, verify your email, protect your password and promptly report unauthorised access. One person must not misuse multiple accounts, impersonate another person or evade a suspension. You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement; where applicable, a parent or guardian must supervise use.
3. Ordering and release
Select a ready kiosk, upload a supported PDF or image, review each file, print settings, price and applicable tax, and pay using the displayed balance. Payment creates an unreleased order. Printing starts only after you confirm in Quiko that you are at the selected kiosk. A kiosk that is offline or unavailable cannot accept or release an order. An unreleased order automatically cancels after 12 hours and its charge returns to the same balance type used. Correct kiosk, document, page range, paper size, colour mode, single/double side, orientation, fit/actual size, N-up and copies remain your responsibility before payment.
4. Files and acceptable use
Upload only material that you own or are authorised to reproduce. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, malicious or privacy-invasive content. Avoid unnecessary identity, financial, health or other sensitive information. We may block or remove content, orders or accounts where reasonably necessary for security, law, payment disputes, abuse or printer safety, while preserving required records and customer rights.
5. Price, tax and payment
Prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit and may differ by kiosk and print setting. The confirmed checkout price governs the order unless a clear system error is identified. Any enabled tax is shown before payment. Online reloads are processed by CHIP Collect under its own terms. We do not request or store your online-banking password. Provider, bank and network availability may delay or reject payment.
6. Print Agents
Print Agents provide local printers, paper and operational support. Quiko controls the customer account, central Print Credit ledger and platform rules. A Print Agent may access only information reasonably needed to operate its kiosks, fulfil orders, investigate failures and report service. Print Agents cannot issue cash withdrawals, transfer customer credit or change these Terms. Contact Quiko at customerservice@quiko.com.my for account, credit or policy disputes.
7. Failures, cancellation and returns
Orders are settled by individual file. Successfully completed files remain charged; failed or authorised cancelled files return only their allocated amount to the same Actual Print Credit or Test Credit balance used. Printer telemetry may not reliably count every physical sheet during a jam or interruption, so partial-output claims require controller records and reasonable investigation. The Printing and Refund Policy contains the detailed process and evidence rules.
8. Availability and responsibility
We use reasonable care but do not promise uninterrupted website, internet, payment-provider, kiosk or printer availability. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, power or network failure, paper jams and events outside reasonable control may interrupt service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Quiko is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from delay, lost opportunity or customer-supplied content.
9. Suspension and closure
We may temporarily restrict an account or order to investigate suspected fraud, chargeback, security risk, prohibited content, legal requirements or material breach. We will use proportionate measures and provide notice where reasonably possible. Account closure does not erase completed transaction, acceptance, tax, dispute or security records that must be retained. Actual Print Credit is handled under the Print Credit Policy and applicable law; Test Credit has no cash value.
10. Changes, language and law
Each policy carries a version and effective date. Material changes will be notified and, where required, require fresh acceptance before further use or reload. Customer translations are provided for accessibility; if versions differ, the legally reviewed English version prevails only to the extent permitted by applicable law. These Terms are governed by Malaysian law and disputes are subject to the courts of Malaysia, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
